Jill’s Crockpot Salsa Chicken

 Chicken for Tacos (1 lb ~ 3 servings)

6 lbs. chicken breast

3 cups chicken stock (1/2 cup for each pound of chicken) or to cover most or all of chicken 

Garlic powder

3 cups picante sauce (1/2 cup for each pound of chicken – can add more to your liking)

Add chicken to slow cooker and sprinkle evenly with garlic powder.  Add broth to cover most of chicken. Cook chicken 4-5 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high. Drain out juices/fat.While the chicken is still warm, shred the chicken with 2 forks or I use my kitchen aid.  Stir in picante sauce and put back on low for 20-30min.
